There is something special to paddle at night. For those not introduced the imagination is paddling in complete darkness. For those who has come along and accustomed their eyes to the dark know that the nights light is a variation of nuances and colures There is a big difference on a sky full of stars when you are located far away from towns full of lights. To paddle under a light and sparkling star heaven is something special. To see the mirror of the moon light in the dark water and the silhouette of the dense forest in a distance Will the stars be out ? Will the moon be shining ? Are we going to hear the wolf howling ? |
WILDERNESS PADDLING AT NIGHT At the magic light of the sunset we paddle out in the wolf territory along a long and narrow forest lake. We stop at the tip of a peninsula and light a camp fire. When the darkness fall a two courese wilderness dinner is served around the fire. Contented we return to the canoes. Now starts the real adventure. The night paddling to the teepee The tour includes: 6 hours guided night paddling, a two course wilderness dinner, overnight in tent/teepee, breakfast, canoes/kayaks, paddles, life jackets, water proof sacks, sitting pads, sleeping bags, sleeping mats and transfer back to Kloten Start and finish: In the village Kloten along road 233 between Skinnskatteberg and Kopparberg.
