EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN ADVENTURE TOURISM 

On Mikael's list of merits are 10 years experience from the adventure tourism in South America. 10 years experience as a ski proller in the winter tourism and a few years experience from traveling and work in the rest of the world

 Mikael who grow up in Sweden is educated at the Sport Tourist School in northern Sweden, above the artic circle. An extensive education in the broad spectra of activity and adventure tourism. Several journeys to the planets all corners followed. Among others, three round the word journeys. Mikael  stayed, lived and worked in many countries along the way. In New Zealand as ski patrol manager. In Australia as a life guard. In Hawaii as a photographer. In Japan as a ski teacher. In Taiwan as an English teacher and in Hong-Kong as a security guard. Ten years in Latin America followed with duty at GAP Adventures. The Great Adventure People is one of the biggest adventure companies in South America. Mikael worked several years as a tour leader on long tours in all the Latin American countries. Followed by a few years as South American Manager on the Great Adventure Peoples South American office in Peru's capital Lima

Nothing was the same after that day Mikael walked in to Rosario's shoe store. The store was located just a few blocks down the road from GAP Adventure's office. Today Rosario work in Nordic Discovery's store and reception. The shoes are replaced by canoes and kayaks and one of the biggest towns on earth against a small village in the wilderness

Nordic Discovery was founded year 2003 when Mikael and Rosario moved back to Sweden. Nordic Discovery is a quality certified nature experience company managed according the eco tourism principles and values

Volunteer work: A great possibility for travelers who want to stay longer in Sweden. Board and accommodation or accommodation in self catering cottage (depending on the agreed hours of work). No experience needed

The chefs know our request on supplies from the forest and the hotels know that we want the fire to burn when we are coming.
