Participants and material are transported with vehicles and mobile trailers. Nordic Discovery keep a very good service along the canoe trails in Västmanland and the south of Dalarna

FREE TRANSPORT FOR GROUPS

Nordic Discovery is specialized in canoe transport and have the knowledge and experience of all canoe trails in Bergslagen. Our favorable transport system offer free transport of hired material to all rivers

PRICE LIST - TRANSPORT

Group Discount. The prices are based on free transport for groups. The discount system also work out very well for paddlers paddling for a long time. The transport is free when the price of hired canoes is higher then the price bellow. If the price is lower than the price bellow, then the difference added is what you pay to obtain transport service. You call when you wish to finish your trip and we will come and pick up hired equipment. If the logistic works, the drivers get a free ride back to the starting point. All equipment is included: Life jackets, paddles, canoe trolleys and canoe trail descriptions are included in the rent of canoes and kayaks. + spray covers on the kayak hire. Waterproof phone case on included option. The equipment is from 2010 - 2004 and in very good shape

Nordic Discovery's personal service includes paddle information and trip proposals. At the spot we have a information briefing about canoe trails and the area in front of maps. Help to get into the canoes and basic instructions on included option

Example - price calculation:

8 paddlers paddle Nittälven from Uvbergsbron to Kopparberg in 4 canoes during 3 days

4 canoes x 350 SEK = 1400 SEK x 3 days = 4200 SEK

Rent of canoes: 4200 SEK

Transport of hired equipment: 1050 SEK

Total: 5250 SEK (656.25 SEK/person)

The breaking point for free transport to Uvbergsbron is 2800 SEK

The breaking point for free transport to Kopparberg is 2450 SEK

The total breaking point for free transport is: 5250 SEK

The canoes will be transported to Uvbergsbron and picked up from Kopparberg without extra charge. For limited numbers of paddlers the transfer from Kopparberg to Uvbergsbron is free (before the paddling). In the example with 8 paddlers 50 SEK/person is added in transfer. The alternative is free transfer for the drivers from Kopparberg to Uvbergsbron (before the paddling)

The Canoe Center is open daily from 08:00 - 21:00 between break-up of the ice to freeze-up (approximately April - October)
