Beaver safari - A spectacular show. A high splash end the silence and a water cascade rise towards the sky. A few seconds later the sprinkles falls back over the surface. A beaver dived and did a strong spectacular flick with his long and flat tail

The small river take us to a farm in the middle of the forest. To the farm we paddle the red Indians traditional canoe "the Canadian canoe". In cozy wild west environment a three course wilderness dinner is served. To dinner, when the sun is low and close to the treetops the experienced, knowledgeable and native Swedish beaver guide Mikael Nilsson inform about the beaver and many other of the wild animals in the forest. In the shelter of the long shadows at dusk the beaver is very active. When the sun has set behind the treetops we return to the canoes and let the river take us downstream on beaver safari. With care we slide in silence towards the beaver huts. Slowly, slowly in order to get as close as possible without harming the beavers

The tour include: Transfer to and from the beaver river, 6 hours guided beaver safari, a three course wilderness dinner, night in double rooms (family rooms), sheets, towels, breakfast, canoes, paddles, life jackets, water proof sacks and sitting pads

Start and finish at Kloten's Wilderness Lodge. Comfortable beds, personal
touch and wild and exotic animals around the corner

The chance to se beaver is very big. During the season 2009 we watched beavers on all standard safari programs

The paddling is not physical demanding. We paddle very careful and with as less noise as possible

Equipment: Rain gears in case of rain. Warmer clothes to put on after sunset when the temperature often drops. Shoes supporting some water are recommended after rainfall
